Shipping & Returns

Within Australia:

All products sent within Australia are delivered by Australia Post or Fastway Couriers.  Custom Tan will choose the most appropriate method for shipment depending on the order. 

1. Australia Post Parcel Post

Parcel Post is Australia Posts regular road service for parcels weighing up to 20kg throughout Australia. Price varies with weight and distance.

           

2. Fastway Couriers

Fastway Couriers are used for parcels weighing up to 5kg throughout the main capital cities/surrounds throughout Australia.  Price varies with weight and distance.

           

Custom Tan takes no responsibility if delivery takes longer than the advertised time.

Our ordering system generates the delivery charges and estimated delivery times for shipments. Customers do not have the ability to choose which option best fits their requirements. 

International:

All international orders are delivered by Australia Post or using an international freight company. Customers have the option of choosing two methods of shipment for orders outside Australia:

           
1. Australia Post International Parcel Post - Air Mail

           

Economy Air Mail delivers Custom Tan products to virtually any address in the world. This economical service accommodates parcels up to 20 kilograms.

           

The Economy Air Mail system offers:

  • Fast & efficient delivery - Air mail provides delivery to over 180 countries. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing fast, efficient service, our delivery performance is independently audited.
  • Direct departure - Air mail delivery is fast and reliable with articles leaving direct for most destinations after sorting at one of our major Australian centres.

                       

2. Australia Post International Parcel Post - Economy Air Mail

           

This is the cheapest overseas delivery service for your parcels to destinations such as North America, the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Ideal when speed is not important. Items sent using Economy Air Mail can take anywhere up to 20 days to deliver depending on your location.

Custom Tan utilises Australia Post’s real-time eDeliver Delivery Rate Calculator (http://drc.edeliver.com.au) to generate the estimated delivery charges based on both the country entered when you supply us with your shipping address, and the total weight of your order. Our ordering system generates the delivery charges and estimated delivery times for both Economy Air Mail and Economy Sea Mail. Customers have the ability to choose which option best fits their requirements.

Custom Tan makes every effort to ensure we are always well stocked and ready to dispatch orders to ensure your shipment arrives quickly.  The following table aims to show you how long you could typically expect to wait for your shipment to arrive once payment has been received:

Packaging

Custom Tan uses high quality packaging materials ensuring your purchase arrive safely and well protected.

Returns & Exchanges

Custom Tan carefully selects and packs orders for every customer.  If your item is faulty within the first 14 days we will replace it for you.  After this time your item will need to be sent back to our warehouse for repair. Custom Tan does not cover the cost of return shipping, nor do we charge for replacement items to be sent.

Faulty Equipment

Please do not send back any items that you consider faulty until you have spoken to someone at Custom Tan.  Most faults can be rectified if we have the opportunity to provide you with more information.  If you have purchased our equipment from one of our distributors you will need to approach them directly.

Change of Mind

Custom Tan does not accept returns for change of mind.

Spray Tanning Solution

Custom Tan will not accept any tanning product back.  If you have not tried our products before we suggest that you try the sample size bottles first.  Health regulations restrict us from accepting returns on gloves, hairnets and other similar items. 

Incorrect Orders

Custom Tan makes every effort to ensure orders are shipped quickly and in accordance with the order supplied.  If you believe you have received an incorrect order, please contact us on 1300 37 36 34.  A replacement order will be dispatched as soon as the incorrect order is received. 

Address for Returns 

All items need to be sent back to Unit 8/30 Tilley Lane, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086.  We strongly recommend items are sent back using Registered Post.  Custom Tan will not be held responsible for any items that are not received and signed for by us.  Please note return times can vary, and in some cases we may not receive your returned item for up to 10 days.  Custom Tan will advise whether any items shipped back from Custom Tan will incur freight charges.
